The coming about of the Strategic Plan
From October to December 2015 everyone was invited to share their ideas for the new Strategic Plan. What ambitions does the University have for 2025? And what can we do to make sure those ambitions can be achieved? Students and employees as well as alumni and staff at partner organisations were all welcome to provide input.
What happened with my ideas after I shared them?
The ideas served as main input for the new Strategic Plan. Between January and April 2016, the input was the basis for formulating the University’s ambitions for the years ahead. At the same time a roadmap was made indicating how those ambitions are to be realised. This was assessed and adjusted as necessary at various locations in the university – from employee and student representation to individual students and employees, as well as management. Needless to say choices were made in the process: the University had to select those ambitions in which we are prepared to invest money and energy.
The Strategic Plan is ready
The Strategic Plan was ready in July 2016 after approval by the University Council and the Supervisory Board. The Plan was officially presented during the Start of the Academic Year on 5 September 2016.
